“The Transformative Potential of Creative Leadership: Lessons in Socially Conscious Innovation from Global Changemakers” (under contract with Routledge) explores what it means to radically rethink leadership – especially the idea of leadership for good. My co-author Cait Hamilton and I are gathering insights from people who are not only leading impactful work across businesses, organisations, and movements, but who are doing so in ways that challenge traditional hierarchies and systems, bringing marginalised leadership identities and styles to the forefront.

Co-authored with Dr Cait Hamilton of Hamilton Editorial.

Recent projects.

Anna was the 2023-24 recipient of the $30,000 scholarship to research best practice in an area that is considered increasingly critical to the viability of arts companies and cultural institutions.

In May and June 2024, I toured Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, London and Madrid and met with almost 80 ESG, communications, partnerships, and business management experts at almost 40 organisations across cultural institutions, government and businesses to understand how they operationalise social & environmental sustainability; engage and empower staff, stakeholders and communities to take action; and measure progress and demonstrate impact.

Watch my 2024 Global Goals Week presentation at the Sydney Opera House reflecting on the insights here. Read my piece in ArtsHub here.
